Semi Automated Bagging Lines

Custom engineered Bagging Line solutions to fill and palletize bags at rates up to 20 bags per minute.

We offer bag filling solutions from simple manual bagging systems through to fully automated bagging with robotic assistance. A key component of a semi automated bagging is either a Gross Weigher or Net Weigher. Selection of the most suitable weigher depends on a number of factors, including the characteristics of the product being handled and the speed and accuracy of bagging required.

Our engineers are well experienced in understanding the material handling properties of each product. Our designs are created in 3D, assisting us to take into account all aspects of operational requirements including the product or products to be bagged, variety of bag sizes to be accommodated, occupational health and safety, ongoing ease of maintenance and the available budget. We work with other leading manufacturers to ensure we offer the right combination of equipment to best meet the need.

Bagging Line Solutions

Active Weighing Solutions specialises in semi-automated bagging machines for optimal bagging and weighing solutions. Our semi-automated bagging machines are designed to significantly reduce operator involvement – saving on both labour and packing for shipment. If you’re looking for a bagging machine that isn’t fully automated but doesn’t require too much of an operator’s time, a semi-automated bagging machine is a perfect compromise. These semi-automated bagging machines can be entirely customised to fit the working environment of your facility. Additionally, they are a great way of utilising a cost-effective machine to enhance production rates while minimising unexpected downtime.

Using A Semi-Automated Bagging Machine

The operational function of a semi-automated bagging machine is very similar to a fully automatic system; however, the operator still plays a role in the overall bagging process. With our semi-automated bagging machines, an operator is responsible for loading an empty bag onto the bag spout, triggering the machine to safely clamp and hold the bag. The filling starts automatically. When the target weight is reached, the filled bag is released and automatically conveyed to a bag sealing station, then to bag conditioning and palletising. There are multiple configurations possible. However, a major benefit is that this machine can be handled by just one operator – freeing up other employees to tend to an array of different tasks.

Regardless of the industry you are involved in, our semi-automated machines can complete bagging for all kinds of materials. Perfect for the industrial, food or pharmaceutical sectors, our semi-automated bulk bagging machine allows for continued filling and palletising in an efficient and timely manner.

Choosing A Semi-Automated Bulk Bagging Machine

  • Easy to position and operate
  • Safe for operators to use
  • Reliability and user-friendliness
  • Equipped with the dust extraction system to keep the machine clean and safe to use
  • Easy to maintain, rarely require servicing, and straightforward parts replacements if needed.
  • Extremely strong and compact structure
  • Open mouth bagging for seamless operation and palletisation
  • Requires only one operator for the entire process
  • Cost-effective

In addition to our semi-automated bagging machines, we supply the following products and accessories to help keep your bagging solutions in optimal condition:

Popular bagging line solutions give outputs up to comfortably 14 bags per minute for the whole process from bag filling, through to closing and palletising. Higher rates can be achieved. As required bagging rates increase, more mechanical assistance (or automation) is usually needed.
